Did you ever wonder where some of those beautiful flowers we give to that special someone are grown or how they
make it to the florist, store, farmer's market still full of life?
Wollam Gardens in Jeffersonton, Virginia is the answer.
The short time I spent at Wollam Gardens was interesting, informative and I came away with a greater appreciation
of how the flower production business operates. Best of all, I got to meet the "field hands" and capture some great
shots. Despite the scorching heat their spirits were high; they were professional and took the time to explain the
process. Even with perspiration dripping from their brows, I think you will find them just as lovely as the flowers.
